Wilma I. Hill, 91

MAY 17, 1921 — NOV. 10, 2012

Wilma I. Hill, age 91, of Bloomington, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday afternoon, November 10, 2012, at her residence. She was born May 17, 1921, in Lawrence County to Olen and Jennie Parker Patton. Wilma spent her working career with both Sarkes Tarzian and General Electric, and was a member for 33 years of the Liberty Church of Christ in Hendricksville.

Wilma leaves behind her cousin, Phyllis Tucker of Martinsville; her niece, Brenda Trexler (Charles); great-niece, Christina Lentz; great-great-nephews, Christopher and Brandon Lentz; loyal friends, Erma Abram, Ron Remak, Danell and Jim Witmer; and her wonderful caregivers from Elder Care Home Connections.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Art Hill; nephew, Jack Patton; sisters, Anna Wyles, Peggy Patton; brothers, Oral and Robert Patton; and three half-brothers, Alvin, Jerry, and Larry Patton.

Graveside services will be held for Wilma Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Valhalla Memorial Gardens. Elder Warren Van Deventer will preside.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Church of Christ.
